Most travel soap cases on the market are rigid, solid plastic cases that are bulky to pack, which is less than ideal for one bag travel. Matador stepped up to create a solution to this problem, and it has arrived in the form of the FlatPak Soap Bar Case.

Matador claims these cases are totally waterproof while still allowing the soap to dry out—which sounds way too good to be true and may defy the laws of physics. They are also made from a flexible fabric, meaning they are easier to pack—another bonus.

Overall, the Matador FlatPak Soap Bar Case is a flexible, slick way to carry around your bar of soap on the road. It doesn’t take up as much room as a hard case and the breathable fabric can work in your favor, serving double duty as a light air freshener in your pack. After a month of use we don’t have much to complain about besides some slight fabric fraying, and after a quick wash it’s good to go for more travel.

Pack Hacker says:

Do you travel with bar or liquid soap?

Ren M. says:

This is great because I hate those plastic cases that open in my bag and get it all wet!!!!

james Truscello says:

Thanks for the review Tom, that term “dry through” does that mean moisture can escape the bag so the soap will b dry? I have tried soap in a baggie and that is awful. The soap just melts if the moisture stays trapped against it.

Mobile Minimalist says:

If the soap scent comes through, then I would buy soap with a fragrance that I love and put it in with my clothes for a perfuming effect.

Ryan says:

What bag are you using at 5:07?

Levi Halperin says:

You know what else works? A plastic bag.

blondre3000 says:

Do we really need a 7 and a half minute review on a soap holder
