Thx for the great reviews.
I am 6 foot five, do you think the setout is tall enough for the hip straps to fit me correctly so that the weight is on my hips.?
Boy you bodied this review!
Thanks for this review. Really appreciate it – I was searching for a comparison video with the outbreaker for a while.
Hey how does this compare to the osprey farpoint 40? I’m looking to buy a bag for backpacking that also works decently for hiking/trekking/camping/climbing/biking ect. From what I’ve seen the farpoint 40 seems to fit those requirements the best but is there anything else you might recommend from your experience?
No shoulder sternum straps? Deal breaker
No flight attended said anything to you about putting it under the seat? Cuz that thing is huge.
Thanks for the review. A minor point- the outbreak backpack is waterproof, while the Setout is water-resistant.
It looks like you were able to put it under the seat. Is that correct? I have one but I haven’t tried it under the seat yet. I wasn’t sure you could fit it there. It would be awesome for flights on small regional planes.
Great review! Again, really appreciate your perspective on this, and has me leaning towards the Setout. So now I have to ask: on your next long-term trip, which bag would you bring, the Setout or your Osprey?
Have you compared this to a osprey farpoint 40? I have the osprey now but this might be a nice upgrade
Great review, but maybe i missed it, no internal compression straps?
