If you can afford it, always go for quality. For example, we’ve been going through headphones like crazy…something always makes them break. we didn’t want to spend $50 for a set of headphones because it didn’t seem to be that important of a purchase. However, the quality on every cheaper pair, even the $30 range was so inferior that we’ve now spent over $100 just replacing and replacing.

A tool belt on a farm will be used several times over. There’s always going to be repairs and maintenance, and don’t forget, on a growing farm, you’re invariably going to be building something!! Go for the quality!

I personally don’t like leather belts and I bought a nice AWP tool belt from Lowe’s for only $40 and it served me well. Recently I upgraded to a Toughbuilt modular tool belt system and I love it the whole system is amazing and they make dozens of bags and specialty holsters that can be clipped onto it, it is the best tool belt system I have ever seen or used and even though Toughbuilt sent me some free to try out I looked them up on the Home Depot website and they are actually very affordable!
